Teck Pioneer Residence

Teck Pioneer Residence (TPR) is a non-profit Long-Term Care Home. It was established to provide the residents of the Town an alternate place to live, when and if they required one. It was opened in 1965 and is owned by the Corporation of the Town of Kirkland Lake. The new Teck Pioneer Residence was built in 2003 - 2004; a 56,000 square foot state of the art building designed according to the Ministry of Health new design standards for homes. Regulations surrounding admission have changed, allowing anyone over the age of 18 and a resident of Ontario to live in the Home.

The Accommodation rates are set by the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care and are subject to change July 1st of each year.
