Commissioner of Oaths

The following is information regarding the Clerk's role as a Commissioner of Oaths.

The Clerk is recognized as a Commissioner of Oaths. If you require the service of a Commissioner of Oaths, you must attend the Town Hall in person and may be requested to provide 2 pieces of personal identification (photo and signature). There is a $20.00 charge for each Commissioning meeting. The document is to be fully completed prior to meeting with the Commissioner, aside from the signature portion which will be done during the meeting. There are limitations to the types of documents that may be Commissioned at Town Hall.

Commissioning  is done by appointment only, please contact the Clerk to book an appointment. Commissioning fees are detailed in the Town's current Fees and Charges By-Law.
