Dear Candidate,
Re: Estimated Campaign Spending Limit

The estimated campaign spending limits for the 2018 Municipal Election are as follows:

For the Office of Mayor: $12,851.60

For the Office of Councillor: $10,351.60

Within that estimated campaign spending limit, you may only self-fund up to a maximum of:

For the Office of Mayor: $8,759.20

For the Office of Councillor: $ 6,259.20

The estimated campaign spending limit is based on the voters' list.
(6296 Voters x $0.85 = $5,351.60 plus $7,500 for Mayor Candidates or $5,000 for Council Candidates)

For future reference, please note that should you so choose to have a post-appreciation event, you may only spend 10% of your estimated campaign spending limit.

For the Office of Mayor: $1,285.16

For the Office of Councillor: $1,035.16

A final spending limit will be provided to the candidate no later than 10 days after nomination day. The higher amount prevails.
